If it’s good enough for a baby’s bum, it’s good enough for my lips 😅

I actually love using this when my lips are super dry. It also leaves a really nice sheen, so add a bit of lip liner and somehow you’ve got a pretty good lip combo. Thank me later 😉

I’m ridiculously picky with fragrance because I get headaches from scents really easily. This is genuinely the only perfume I can wear .

I’ve loved this scent since I was a kid. Whenever I smelled it on someone, I loved it… and now I’m the one wearing it. 🥰

All day, every day, every occasion. I don’t really believe in having different perfumes for different moods. 😅

Performance: 

It made my skin feel soft and smooth without being overly greasy. It did leave a slight tacky feeling for a while, especially when I applied too much.

Scent:
it's warm, sweet and very noticeable. I liked it at first but it stayed on my skin longer than I expected and occasionally competed with my perfume. 

left my skin feeling soft, comfortable and properly hydrated. It did not cause any irritation, and there was enough serum in the packet to spread over my neck and chest. 

It's good and I have no complaints, especially in this price category. 

This gives my curls a nice soft clean without leaving them feeling stripped, and they usually look a bit more settled afterwards.

I wouldn’t call it transformative, but it’s dependable and my hair generally behaves well with it.

It’s lightweight and hydrating enough that it doesn’t make the under-eye area look drier than it already feels. The coverage is moderate, so it won’t erase a genuinely terrible night, but it helps without looking like I’ve tried too hard.

The formula is comfortable and flattering, which is what I want from lipstick. It doesn't bleed and it does not emphasise every line, however, the age defying part is nonsense to me.
Buy it for the texture and colour, not the promise.

This is one of the few foundations I can apply in the morning and stop thinking about it. Coverage is strong, transfer is minimal after powder and setting spray and the coverage stays remarkably controlled through the T-zone. 

‼️ Preparation matters around dry areas, but once that is handled, the wear is difficult to beat.

It give me very good length and holds up well through the day. I need to be careful with the second coat because that's where it starts looking a little spidery on me.

Sheer, comfortable and very easy to apply. The colour gives enough definition to make the lips look finished without turning into an entire lip routine. Wear time is predictably modest 😅, but the way it fades is clean and even 😌.

I finished a tube of this earlier this year and really loved how little effort it needed. I could blend it with my fingers and my skin still looked like skin.

This is very easy to spread with my fingers and gives enough coverage to even things out without making me feel heavily made up. It isn’t full coverage, but that’s precisely why I use it.

• After one box, I can’t point to anything specific and say, “Yes, AG1 did that.”
• Maybe it’s doing something quietly in the background, but then I don’t really get the big claims.

This is much more my sort of perfume.

It has that powdery, slightly old-fashioned quality that I know will not appeal to everyone, but on my skin it becomes soft, warm and beautifully elegant rather than dated.

It is noticeable without being overbearing, which is what I want from perfume.

 I never tire of it.

I respect this perfume far more than I enjoy wearing it. A friend of mine wore it the other day and it smelled absolutely lovely on her, which made me wonder whether I had been too quick to dismiss it.

So the next time I was in a department store, I tried it on my own skin and wore it for the rest of the day.

By the evening, I had reached exactly the same conclusion as before: beautiful perfume, just not for me.

Being over 50 does not automatically mean one develops a moral obligation to love Chanel. The smell is simply not my cup of tea.
