OLAPLEX is an American prestige haircare brand founded in California in 2014 by Dean and Darcy Christal, using bond-repair technology developed by materials scientists Professor Craig Hawker and Dr. Eric Pressly. Its salon and at-home treatments, shampoos, and conditioners strengthen damaged hair at a molecular level. OLAPLEX became part of German consumer-goods group Henkel in 2026.
