Carmex is an American lip-care brand created by Alfred Woelbing in his Wauwatosa, Wisconsin kitchen in 1937. Its iconic medicated balm was developed to soothe and protect dry, chapped lips and is now offered in jars, tubes, sticks, flavored moisturizers and sun-care formats. Carma Laboratories remains a third-generation, family-owned company.
